January 5, 2010 – FORT WAYNE, IN. On Sunday, January 17, 2010 in the University of Saint Francis North Campus Auditorium at 4:00PM, choirs from around the community gather to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King in a festival of song designed to bring his vision alive for today. Hosted by the Heartland Chamber Chorale, and featuring guest artist Carver Cossey, an internationally acclaimed bass-baritone soloist from Los Angeles and Indiana native, along with choirs from Pilgrim Baptist Church, Temple Achduth Vesholom and the University of Saint Francis. This will be an occasion to show your support for Dr. King’s vision and join with members of the Fort Wayne community in affirming that support. This free concert is part of Heartland Chamber Chorale’s community outreach program, fulfilling its mission to change lives through song.
The University of Saint Francis North Campus Auditorium is located at 2702 Spring Street in Fort Wayne, across the street from the University’s Bass Mansion. Ample parking is available with handicap accessibility throughout the facility.
