December 2, 2009 – FORT WAYNE, IN. The Fort Wayne Philharmonic presents Händel’s oratorio The Messiah in concert performance on Friday December 18 at 8:00 pm in the Auer Performance Hall in the Rhinehart Music building on the campus of IPFW. This performance is under the direction of Maestro Robert Nance, chorus director for the FW Philharmonic. The chorus is made up of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and members of the Heartland Chamber Chorale. Maestro Nance is also the founding artistic director of the Chorale. The performance will be conducted from memory by Maestro Nance.

This performance features soloists of international reputation and experience: soprano Denise Ritter, alto Lexa Ferrill, tenor Don Bernardini, and bass Ryan DeRyke.
