October 1, 2009 – FORT WAYNE, IN. Join the Heartland Chamber Chorale on Saturday October 10, 2009 @ 8PM and Sunday October 11, 2009 @ 4PM as they perform your favorite contemporary jazz, ‘60s rock n’ roll, and Broadway vocal music. Robert Nance, the Chorale’s Artistic Director, will lead the ensemble in their first concert performances of the 2009-10 season. Experience the stellar voices of the Heartland Chamber Chorale as they begin their 13th season with vibrant interpretations of great choral music. These arrangements of favorite standards will remind you of just how good our contemporary songwriters are.
Mayor Tom Henry will introduce the Sunday concert, emphasizing the positive relationship between the University of Saint Francis and Heartland Chamber Chorale as the Chorale begins its second year as an ensemble-in-residence on the Fort Wayne campus.
